The Swami Dayananda College of Arts & Science, Manjakkudi, Tamil Nadu, is in the process of obtaining the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accreditation.
Dr. Arivudainambi , Director IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), Annamalai University, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, professor, department of Horticulture and Dr. Selvamuthukumaran, professor visited the college premises on 16th July 2021 for a workshop on NAAC accreditation. They discussed each criteria of NAAC in detail with all the staff members at the college. The professors also explained the importance of NAAC accreditation for the institution.
This programme also saw the participation of Sri. M.G. Srinivasan, correspondent of the college, Sri. M.R. Rajagopal, coordinator of SDET (Swami Dayananda Educational Trust) activities at Manjakkudi and Dr. V. Hema, principal of the college.
As part of formalities relating to the above accreditation, Dr. S. Arivudainambi, Director IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), Annamalai University, Dr. S. Ramesh Kumar, professor, department of Horticulture, Dr.S. Karthik Kumar, associate professor, department of English and Dr. T. Selvamuthukumaran, professor, department of Entomology visited our college on 6th August 2021 for a NAAC review. They conducted review on first three criterions and gave suggestions.
