Sri. M. G. Srinivasan, the poorvashram younger brother of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati—Founder of Swami Dayananda Educational Trust and AIM for Seva—passed away on 9 January 2026 at his home in Manjakkudi.

Sri. Srinivasan’s life was one of quiet responsibility and steadfast commitment. After Pujya Swamiji’s Mahasamadhi in 2015, he became a silent custodian of Swamiji’s vision at Manjakkudi, ensuring that the institutions established there continued to function with stability, discipline, and fidelity to their founding ideals. As the Correspondent of Swami Dayananda College, he provided guidance marked by clarity, patience, and an unwavering sense of duty.

Beyond formal roles, he was a trusted elder of Manjakkudi—deeply rooted in the village’s social and cultural life, and looked upon as a source of balance and reassurance in times of decision. His relationship with the community was one of mutual respect, built over years of sincere engagement and service.

The spontaneous and heartfelt participation of the entire village in paying their last respects speaks volumes of the regard in which he was held. Prayers were offered to the village deities for the peaceful journey of his soul and for his ascent to higher realms.

The SDET and AIM for Seva family bows in gratitude for a life lived in service, responsibility, and grace.

Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih.
